Ok, so when I start the car, i hear this squeeking noise, its no more than 5 seconds. After a few searches here, it came down to either too loose, or harmonic balancer. I figure I do the simple thing first.

So I tighten the alternator belt via the tensioner, and all is well.

So I do a little "spirited drive" last night, then this morning when I start the car, the squeeling noise at start up returns. I'm like WTF.

So I open the hood, and low and behold, the tensioner screw and that other screw that holes the entire alternator down is gone! I had made sure it was tight when I first did it, It looked like it backed itself out and dropped on the road!

Horrible! Is this one of those parts that can only be purchased if I find a parts car, or is it possible to purchase just that screw part at satan. I know those little things satan wants you to purchase the entire component that goes along with it, I was looking just to buy the ac line lower cap and the wanted me to buy the entire ac line!

Just came to confirm that those numbers are indeed correct. I just ordered em and have the invoice in front of me. Calan if you got those numbers from a 1G, it is INDEED the same for the 2g.

Here is the price breakdown:

MD133180 - Bolt, Alternator $3.60
MD133152 - Nut, Alternator $4.16
MF140233 - Bolt, ENG FR CASE $1.76

FWIW, the diameter and thread pitch of the tensioner bolt is the same as an exhaust manifold stud (the smaller ones if referring to a 2G) meaning M8 x 1.25. So if you wanted you could use an extra nut from an exhaust mani stud to secure the tensioner in place and keep it from backing out again. It is generally not needed but just some info if anyone else notices the bolt keeps loosening up.
