Hey guys, you may remember a while back when my Autometer sending unit went out and I posted up here and wanted to see if that was indeed my problem. Fast foward to now: I just got a new Oil Pressure Sending Unit from Autometer and I want to remote mount this sending unit so that this new sending unit does not go out like my old one did. I was wondering how many people have done this. Also, where can I pick up some stainless steel braided line to relocate the sending unit to the fire wall? Any pictures would be great as well.

Thanks for all your guys' help

I bought this stainless steel braided line kit from Summit Racing. I ran the line up into the engine bay and made a bracket to secure the sender next to the power steering pump fluid reservoir. There's a pic in this thread, titled "Remote Mounted Oil Pressure Gauge Sender" :p

I apologize. I swear to you I searched (like I always do before posting) for threads on this but it came up with only 5 which did not help me in the least. Thanks a lot for the help. Was that three feet of line enough? Anybody else want to chime in, feel free.
