I have been working on my FMIC setup for my 1g. I got the IC used from a friend(thanks rick) for 125. I bought 4 2.5 ubends from ebay for 50 and I had the couplers from a previous project. Here is how it turned out. I like it and it got rid of all knock at 20 psi. I just bought a 12 inch slim fan. The way I routed the pipes makes the stock fan not fit.

Very nice, and on an budget easy on the wallet. Just had one question though, why do your couplers bulge like that?

those couplers are called hump hoses. They allow for more flexing than the tradtional straights.

Is your bumper going to fit back on bud?

Like a glove. Didn't have to trim anything. I did not put the core support back on. I did the same thing to my 2g with no problems. Would suck to wreck though.

I am not sure who made that intercooler. But sadly it had a big leak and I had to go with a beat up FMIC that I had laying around here from my 420a project. I am getting my money back from the IC and the IC I put on there works great for now.

Looks good, but I am concerned in the routing of your plumbing. The extra bends for everything may make it less efficient. You may have unecessary pressure drop...

I like the black. Keeps things stealth.

There have been many tests done with crazy piping setups on dynos and the difference in HP and boost responce has been very, very insignificant. Like there was one done on a 240 with a sr20det. I wana say modified did it. Anyways they added two 180s and a extra 5 feet of pipe and had less than 2 hp loss and hit full boost 20 rpms later. I will be fine I think.

Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but my friend has a similar setup to yours, and his overheats pretty bad if you get on it. I was wondering what you did about your fans? Because your setup looks like it eliminates the fans.
