hey my car broke down the other night and i couldnt figure out the roblem so i brought it to the shop and they told me my coil pack for my firt and fourth cylinder are fryed. He said hes gunna charge me 250 big ones to replace, does this sound right? please help quick i need ot head up there in a little bit

You should be able to find a new one for under $150 if you look around hard enough. And if you are up to doing it yourself, it's quite easy. The best way I've found is to move the fuel rail out of the way.

This is correct. And yes, it's a lot easier to do if you remove the rail. However, you should also get new injector seals (o-rings up top, seals on the bottom), especially being a 95.

Yep, I replaced coil pack hoping it was the problem. Well it ended up being the transistor. Luckily I had a spare from my parts Talon.

I have a problem that occurs very rarely. I will start it and it will only run on 2 cyl and then come out of it. Or if i shut it off and restart it is fine. Only happens like once every 2 months. When it happens, i get a CEL for the coil pack/transistor. I have replaced the coil packs, and it still does it so i am just waiting till it goes out completey.......i have the transistor sitting in my closet.

Just thought i would share to confirm some other opions posted.

Yep, exactly what mine was doing. i just replaced it to get pass inspection.
