The web address may say lancer, but that is definitely a mirage. I used to have one like it minus the 4g64 of course. I always thought that a mirage could be a fast car with the right engine in it. They weigh next to nothing. I easily hung with ricers with my 1.5l engine and no mods, just imagine the quietness from the stock exhaust while showing modded ricers that they are nothing special. My mirage was what got me into dsm's. I wanted it fast and the only real way to do it was drop in a 4g63, so I switched cars. I would still like a 4g coupe, like the one on that page, with a 4g63 in it. A turboed 4g64 must be nice for that guy.

Hey, I've only got a 1.5L too. The Mirage 1.5 puts out 92hp. My tercel 1.5 (3e-e) puts out a whopping 82hp, while the newer tercels 1.5s (5e-fe) puts out 93hp.

Yup, my Mirage was a 1.5l 92hp monster. I had the ultra low end Mirage, but actually had painted bumpers, lucky me. The ES and LS both had 1.8l engines, but my automatic mirage was easily faster than a 1.8l eclipse. I had so much fun with that slow car. Top speed was 112 mph.

Haha, why do you think Ive been lookin at DSMs? I hope to go look at a 92 TSI nearby over Xmas break. But hey, for now, I like my 33-35 MPGs though, and the 4-on-the-floor is still that much better than an automatic. It's a fun little car, and can fit in ANY parking space I can find . frig, if your DSM meet in Portland was a week earlier, I would love to come, but I have to go back to work that week, and I live in Canada. Have relatives in Portland tho, so I do go down there regularly.
