i've been looking at this one for awhile. I know its a shoot in the dark since no one has any experience but everything seems fine. You guys think i should take the risk and buy it?

It has the rear facing mounts and other then the thickness its the same dimentions as the extreme intercoolers 7" model

The end tanks look alittle different but would it effect it that much?

you made another thread about this didnt you? if you are worried about the quality of the intercooler, just buy the 2g xs autochrome one. i did, havent looked back since. i did the install a bit different from most of the 1g owners, i spend $50 and had the drivers side outlet cut off and sealed, and relocated to the back of the entank....now for $345, i have a very large rear facing fmic that has been proven, plus i have piping too

If you want a very well put together kit stick with the extreme intercoolers kit.

I went and personally picked up my kit and got to see the shop where everything is hand made and I am very happy with my setup. JR went out of his way to help me and his kits have a lifetime warranty. Where else are you going to find a company that will stand behind their product like that?

Since they dropped the price i said F it and got it. We'll see how well it works but for 275 bucks i dont see a huge issue

Looks pretty decent to me, and with the cast endtanks, should not have any worries of it blowing welds like the SMIM versions.

Post back on how it fits and some closeups of the core itself

I talked to the seller and he seemed like a good guy. I asked him about the fitment and he said if i want he can build me a custom IC.

It will be here thursday i'll be sure to post pics. Sadly it wont be on the car for awhile.
