how do i fix my leaky sun roof. to give u a brief idea when i close my door the sun roof rattles. i have to push down on it when i get out. but it still leaks cause theirs not a tight seal. what do i do ?
thanks, chris

SILICONE IT!!!!!!:D No! But seriously. Check to make sure the rollers on the glass are engaging in the track good.

There's 2 Torx bolts on each side of the rail. Make sure they're tight. Mine were loose and I had to tighten them. The hard part will be finding the right size Torx driver to use.

Raise the rear of the sunroof as normal so you can reach them. if you can grab the back of the sunroof and lift it up manually more, then it's probably a little too loose. You'll be able to see it slipping in the groove where the bolts are.

One more thing... When you tighten the torx screws on the sunroof, make sure that the sunroof is 1mm above the sheet metal facing the rear of the car, and 1mm below facing the front of the car. The factory manual also states this. This is done to help get the water into the front water channels. Also, to help with seals, get some silicone spray, and spray it on a rag. Rub the seals on the outside of the glass with the spray. This will help a lot.
