The Mitsubishi Research and Design America group did a Mitsubishi Owners Day in California last April. They had a huge turnout with over 500 cars attending! So now they are doing it again!! This time the MRDA group is teaming up the the Mitsubishi plant in Normal, IL to have a huge show at the factory. The details:

What:
- A Mitsubishi Owners Day for all Mitsu enthusiasts

Where:
- At the Mitsubishi plant at: 100 N. Mitsubishi Motorway, Normal, IL 61761
- Map: http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?a...ay&csz=normal,+il&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

When:
- Saturday, October 22nd, from 10am to 3pm

Why:
- Because Mitsubishi would like to thank all of there loyal owners out there.
- It also shows the decsion makers out there just how much we care for our cars, and who knows, maybe we can influance the future of Mitsu cars.

Other activities include:
- Showing off your ride and checking out the hundreds of other cars.
- The EVO 9 and other concept vehicles will be on display. Past and present ones.
- Tour the Mitsubishi Plant. See how your favorite Mitsus are put together.
- Check out the latest products from various vendors that will have displays.

I'm hoping to get some more information on vendors and the list of concept cars that will be there. Stay tuned...

Curt

Time to start organizing the caravan.

I'm not sure I'm going to take 47 to I55 or just run south on I39 the whole way.

Steve

I'll go either of those ways. 55 annoys me and makes me want to drive 85 mph to get it over with though. Let me know what your plan is, and you can add a car to the caravan!

caravan! im up for it...just let me know where the starting point is

-Royce-

If I can get my truck sold in the next few days I should have enough money to get my laser and steath both running and I should be bringing both

It's 300 miles from me in northern Indiana, but I'll be damned if I'm going to let something like this pass by without making it. Count me in!

A few questions:
1. Do we have to registor for anything? Or can we just show up?
2. Do we have to pay for anything?-stupid question but have to ask.
3. Where are some good hotels to stay in in those parts?
4. Since it ends so early is there a gathering going on after?
5. Is there prizes/awards/judging for anything?

I know a bunch of people going but from different areas. I'll be leaving a bit earlier around 6:30a to allow some time for the typical stops in-route and still make it before 10a.

Awesome, that answers my questions.
Anyone from Wisconsin making the drive? Its about 3.5 hours for me.

Doesn't appear that I'll have either of my cars ready for the trip, but if I do I'm going. Right now I'm in Racine
