Sorry for the "!", I'm just extremely frustrated.

i just wanted to clean my intercooler and remove the fog lights. All is going dandy until I try to remove the fog light housing. I got the two obvious bolts under the wheel well and I can "feel" the other one. I have spent the alst hour looking for it. Anyone?

Where are al lthe fog light housing bolts on a 1g Talon?

Thanks.

I am lost on that one too!! I just took the I/C out to clean it, and then I hose it off when I wash my car.

But when I replace the fog lights with some good driving lights I will need to remove them

-Remove the 2 phillips on the fog lamp's lense, remove the fog lamp, now you'll see the bolts which bolt the bracket to the chassis.

I couldnt get one of the phillips off no matter how much torque I gave it. I spent about 20 minutes trying to get the fog light off. When that didnt work I started looking for other ways to get to the bolt.

Then I belt behind the phillips and realized something: It had a locking bolt behind it. And there is no way in hell to get to it. It's like a cruel joke set up by Mitsubishi: get every bolt and then realize you need to take off the front bumper to just get ONE bolt

I'm tired of playing games. I'm taking a drill to that #@%#@%#@%#@%er tommorrow  No more fog lights for this 1g!

heh your not the only who is frustrated byt this, i wanted to replace the fog light bulbs for some PIAA, i was working for almost an hour trying to remove the bolts and there was no way i could take the fogs our without removing the front bumper, so what i did was loosend the bumper up and work from there, although the fog next to the intercooler i had to jack up the car and loosen the bolts from under the car, pain in the ass i tell u

Yeah I had to drill the one bolt out on the passenger side when i removed my fog lights for the first time too. I #@%#@%#@%#@%ed the light and the bracket up, but was eventally able to bend the bracket back into shape.

Hehe. Well, here is an update.

#@%#@%#@%#@% the bracket. I'm drilling it all out. I never really wanted another set of foglights anyway. hopefully it will be out in an hour or so. I tell you, there is a way to get the foglight off without taking the front bumper.

BTW, I have the Hanes manual and it isn't doing jack for me. It is completely vague on the matters of the body.

"Remove the bolts above and below the foglight housing and then remove the housing"

It doesn't even give me a general idea of how many bolts to look for.
