Quick question about UICP

Hey, I just picked up my Dave Brode UICP and 1g BOV. I still have the stock airbox but have an Extreme PSI intake on the way. Can I insall the UICP and BOV before I get the intake, or do I have to get rid of the air box for the UICP to fit. I remebering reading that it wouldn't without an open air filter. Thanx for the response :thumb:

Dejon upper and it wouldn't fit with that huge piece of metal junk in there. Get a K&N for $30 bucks and be done with it

come with the filter? If not you'll need a good filter anyway so go ahead and get it and take off the can and put it on now.

Yup, comes with filter and piping.

oh yeah, and pay close attention to this detail:
"You have to replace the air box with a cone type filter to obtain the clearance necessary for the new piping. There is no way around it so deal with it
