Well i made the drive to Jackson SC over the weekend. I waited 3 1/2 hours once at the jackson 1/4 track for 1 pass!!! There was a bunch of shit blowing up that night so that kinda sucked. The track however was very nice. I only got one pass in all night. It was on street tune, full interior other then rear seat removed and street tires. 20psi boost, tires both front and back at 25psi. Stutterbox set at 5k

Its kind of tough to read

reaction : .299
60 foot : 1.679
1/8 : 7.931
MPH : 91.01
1/4 : 12.274
MPH : 114.75

Over all I was happy, My first to second shift was pretty slow, hints the 1/8 MPH and only a 7.9 to show for it. Im pretty sure if i could make another pass i would have been able to run a 11.9x with trimming another couple tenths in the 1/8th. Then I would also have better top end.

However, 2 1/2 hours to track, raced, and 2 1/2 hours home without a single problem. This is what having good dsm days is all about .

I will try to post the video soon, I raced my buds 05 STI, full 3inch no cat, COBBs stage 2 computer, and intake. He ran a 12.8

Any ideas on what the 50trim has in her on Race gas?

Nice numbers for pump :)

Kick in the race gas and up the boost and I don't think you'll have trouble seeing 11s, especially if you think your driving could have been a little better :thumb:

What are your mods besides the 50trim and frontmount?

I just got my PTE in and havent had much luck with it so far.... 5 of the 6 chra to exhaust housing bolts broke off and I had to send the trubo back to PTE. They replaced them with stronger bolts, hopefully they last longer then a week this time WTF .

Nice time slip and trap for 20psi, I hope to hit something similar my first time at the track with this turbo.

HKS 264/272 cams, no balance shafts, .20 over bottom, ARP head bolts, metal Hg, Walbro 255hp,780 PTE injectors, Key Diver Stage3, S-afc II, GM-mas, Translater, Profect B , 2600 act, Fidenza flywheel, fluidyne radiator, kosie k1, kumho 225s, 3inch ATR turboback, tubular 2.5 02housing, 2g ported manifold, PTE 50trim, extreme psi race FMIC, 3.5" intake pipe :talon:

50 trims have gone high 10's on race gas.

However, it wouldn't be unrealistic for you to see high 11's possibly mid 11's if you can push it to its limits.

I was thinking about removing the front and rear bumpers for replacement dejontool bumpers. That would save me about 65-70 pounds. Also my stock leather is shot up front, i was looking for some new seats. However it seems like all lightweight seats look ricey to me and cost loads of $$$.

This will be the last week for my stock block and head. I have a stage 3 buschur block and head that im trying to get some buds to help me install this weekend. Pistons are 9.1 ross, on top of crower rods. I would still like to see what i can get out of pump with the higher compression. I also got the hook up on a extruded and honed intake. Im getting that powder coated right now. Here are pictures of the very nice buschur head, same cam set-up 264/272.

As you can see the head is o-ringed, so im gonna let the 50 trim go nuts on race gas, hopefully around 30psi. I would love to run mid 11s. I will try and take pictures of the block this weekend.
Thanks for all the replys guys. :dsm: :talon: :laser:

In my old VR6 turbo, I put Recaro SPG's in it (very light, and very pricey), and let me tell you that on long drives you will miss you stock seats. There are some good seats out there, but the non ricey, lightweight ones will cost you. (you get what you paid for).

As for 30 psi, I don't see why you couldn't do it with the built motor on that turbo. I run 27 on pump, with the FPRed, I can't wait to get to the track and dump some C16 in that bad boy. You should see some good times with that motor setup.

Are you planning on doing, haltech, AEM, etc... or managing it with what you have now?
