I am tired of my clutch pump up my clutch is fine for a while then I loose free play and it pumps up how do I fix this I tried backing the cruse switch all the way out. What else can I do I still have the factory clutch rubber hose does this have any thing to do with it or what else should I try?

Thanks

i dont know much about the newer dsms' but ummm i am guessin that it is a hydraulic clutch so i would say change the fluid first get out all the old and replace with new by this i mean gravity bleed open it up and let it run out the replace with new if that dont work chage the slave cylinder

I thought pump up delt with the master cylinder?

Yep, check both the Master and slave cylinder, those can cause a clutch not to come back up from the ground after the clutch heats up. :dsm:

Have you checked your fluid level? Have you bled the clutch system? Check under the black boot on the master cylinder inside the car and see if there is evidence of leakage.

Yes pull up your floor mat against your fire wall on the drivers side ....if it is wet with clutch fluid the seal on the back of your clutch master cylinder is gone and it is leaking inside your car.

Fluid level is fine no leakage and the system was bled correctly. I also took the steps recommended on road race engineering’s website. So what would be causing my plump up because I think I can get rid of it its just that I have the clutch engaging right off the floor which is not good.
