Well, My car is no longer with us, it was totalled on Wednesday evening at 6:00.
You all probably want the story, so here goes:
I was driving home from the mall with my best friend, we went to go get a few things. There is a section of a road that splits up into 4 lanes of traffic as you approach this busy intersection. Traffic is all backed up on the left side, because you either have to go straight or turn left, whereas the right lane becomes a right hand only lane, and takes less time to use. When it comes time to split, I take the right lane, as we had to turn right anyways...DUH... I am driving at about 35 mph, well under the speed limit there. We approach a smaller intersection in front of a grocery store, where cars are sitting just far enough in the intersection as to allow the oncoming left turn lane to get through. I have the green light, as states by many people who witnessed the accident. As I go through the intersection, BAM! I T-Bone a Honda CRV who thought they could get by. Me and my friend look at each other, make sure we are OK, once we've established that seat belts saved our friggin lives, we proceed to exit the car, as someone yelled that there was a lot of stuff leaking from the car. I turn the engine off with the key and me and my friend get out of the car and walk away from it. Now I turn my attention to the lady who caused the accident, the one I hit. She is very calmly talking to a witness, who most likely informed her that she had caused the accident, as i was sitting on the other side of the intersection. I walk over there, she sees me and begins to cry and yell "Why did you hit me" At that point, I was just like, "nope, not happening today" and walked away from her car, which was also totalled. The paramedics come, and she is yelling in "pain" and left in an ambulance. Believe me, she wasn't hurt any worse than me. My friend and I get checked out by the paramedic, and we are OK, and both of our parents show up. I explained to them what happened, and they were glad I was OK, and that we weren't hurt. Then, they turned their attention to the tow truck who had already made off with my car. I was sitting in the back of an ambulance, and unaware of this. My dad not only got the car back, but got my stuff out of it, and had it towed to a good body shop close to my house instead of their tow lot.
I didn't get a ticket, which was lucky, just because I am 16, but she didn't get a ticket either, which kind of pissed me off, as she ruined my car. Overall, it was a rough night, and I was glad everyone was OK, and I could care less about the other lady, as she stated to the officer, "I clearly ran a red light" I am saddened of the loss of my car, but I am already looking for another one, DSM forever
The person all the way on the right in the pic of the left side of the car is my best friend
What amazed me was that the back of the doors lined up perfectly after the crash, everything that got messed up was from the doors forward. My parents were impressed with the cars impact taking ability.

Stupid woman. Be ready for her lawyer, and just let your insurance company handle it!
