how would you know if a BOV is leaking under boost? would it show up on a boost gauge in your vaccum reading? what about boost reading? the reason im asking is i have a suspicion my BOV is leaking, its just a strong intuition. i hear a strange like steady squeaking kind of noise if im cruising in say 2nd or 3rd gear at low MPH with like barely any throttle. it happens 80% of the time if im just driving slow and my windows are down i can hear it sounds like a air squeaking kind of noise. and it will stop soon as i change my throttle position.

btw its a 1st gen BOV i got off DSMtrader, and if youve seen my other posts im trying to figure out why my car is slow with all its mods, and this was one of my first mods. could this be affecting the performance of my car majorly if it is leaking?
