My 91 talon is stripped down for an engine rebuild, my budget won't stand for a set of forged JE or ROSS pistons, but I can swing a set of '95 OEM pistons. what are the exact modifications that have to be performed on the '91 rods to accept the '95 piston swap?? I've searced high and low on these forums and can only find general terms like "the small end hole must be enlarged and the small end of the rod must be made a little narower"
I would prefer to give my machine shop guys some specific instructions to make it less likely that they will mess up my engine.
anyone know what the exact mods are to the '91 rods??
Thanks in advance,
Johnnytsi
