I know their is a big Wisconsin DSM'ers thread, but most people in their were from southern Wisconsin. So I was wondering if anyone else here is close to Stevens Point, GB, Shawano or other towns in that area. I go to school in point, live in shawano over the summer and cruise in Green Bay because..well.. its a good place to cruise :cool: , so thats why I ask about them in particualar. :talon:
 
well I am kindof a Wisconsin/Minnesota DSMer because I live in International Falls, MN but I often got to Ashland, WI. I wish I could find people in my area
 
Hey Man..I live in Stevens Point, I have a white 1991 talon ESI, and a Silver 1991 TSI AWD, do you know frank? He has all the AWD's in town basically. We have to meet up someday, i go to SPASH.

nope. don't know frank. the only 1G i see around here must go to UWSP with me cause he's always parked in the school parking lot. white, FWD turbo automatic (i think, from what i could tell from looking at it) but you won't see my driving my talon around point for probably another month or so because its still in Shawano waiting to be insured. it also neeed a few fixes before it can be a good daily driver. so for now im just driving my Celica.
 
oh, well, if ya see me, i'll either be in a white 1ga with a black roof, or a silver 1ga. What kind of celica you drivin? Oh yea, i have the only 1ga white/black roof, and the only silver 1g(a or b) in town, so i'm easy to spot :cool:
 
its a red 90 celica ST (1.6L OMG ) automatic :notgood: its in one of my pics with the talon in my profile
 
I've seen ya around town, well, i've seen the car, may not have been you. That parking lot seems really familiar :rolleyes: . Next weekend hopefully my buddy matt clinton and i will get both our cars out, hes got a 11sec. 3kgt vr4, goes to UWSP too.
 
the parking lot in my picture is from my high school (Shawano).

Pro3racer, is Frank the guy who got the red 92 GSX with that big FMIC. If that's him, he bought the red 92 GSX from me awhile ago. The car has almost everything in it, except a built bottom end and here and there. I know that car is a 11 second car, but I never got the chance to boost it. Ran 12.7@113 at only 19 psi with the 60trim setup with a miss 4th gear. Let me know if you know what Frank has done anything else to the car because I miss that car.
 
I live in Clintonville which is not too far from Shawano. I am really trying hard to find some sort of car scene around here.

i know a couple people from clintonville. I see you drag at KK? me too. hopefully i'll be going some friday night when they dont get rained out.
 
I see you guys drag there too. I use to go there too, but now the car is down.

WIR is having a Real Street Drag there once a month. Maybe we can get together and do some runs there.

I'm gonna try to get down as much as i can this summer. My Talon is down right now too but should be going in a couple days. If im not there with the DSM i'll be there with the camaro(trying to get high 12's with it).
 
The red 92' is long gone, he now has a 99' GSX, just got it, FMIC, 16g, all the goodies, a red talon(awd, winter beater), and thats it, i just picked up his beautiful silver 1g from him. We all should meet up some weekend, maybe on a nice saturday night cruise?

have any particular time& place? i still don't have my talon insured and i still need to put in my tank with new warblo 190. but hopefully in a week or 2 I'll be driving it.
 
Stevens Point here too. Turbo'd '93 Laser FWD, see sig pic. I'm just finishing up the FMIC, 550, EVOIII 16g, upgrade and a few other small goodies. you'll see the car out again soon enough, hopefully even this weekend.

then i'll definetely be up for a cruise night. i'd even go without the car, take the bike or something too

WIR Real Street Drags is a hard night to get races in... they are usually pretty busy. i think they still do Wednesday night runs, cheaper and not as crowded. we should look into that too. also, i plan to get my car Dyno'd soon, if anyone of you is FWD, we should hook that up too!

WIR doesnt do the wednesday thing anymore :| you can go fridays on the high school nights and get 3 runs for 15$ i think. btw, my car is FWD, but i have no need to dyno it right now.
 
i believe the last real street drag event at Kaukauna is Oct 7th. hopefully my car will be ready for the track by then
 
I am from Marshfield, just moved to wisconsin rapids. we should organize a central wisconsin DSM...

I drive a blue talon AWD, I just bought my brother a 95 talon AWD, blitz body kit, Orange. I also have a 97 cobra supercharged, red.
