Per NHRA 2012 rulebook it seems Hoods are required on full-bodied cars and bumpers are optional but I'll have to call and check with the track to be sure.
Ok the rules are confusing, especially when trying to read on a PDF so idk lol

I'll be there for sure, attempting to tune the new cams in with link.
I'll be in a silver Mirage hatchback, feel free to come say hey if you see me.
Not 1 DSM was there anyways I got 13.7@109 on 10psi. Only got to run twice, sucked...
I forgot about it, was going to come out. Ended up coming out though to help a friend load his GTO on a trailer after a missed shift, low oil, and over-rev. Seized it at the end of the track. Might come out to the next TNT
Are you serious? was it silver? I think I raced him, he ran a 13.5@91 ( I was pretty sure it broke) I ran my 13.7@108 on that run with him lol. I was like holy shit I blew past that guy right at the end
Actually I didn't think the video turned out but it looks decent so I may post it up if I can get my youtube account back up

The GTO seemed to have a silent death at the end
HA! Yes, that was him then. Exact run numbers. Definitely post the video, I would like to show him.
Should of done a mid to high 12's on that run if everything went well. He's ran 13.4 before at 116(shitty launch).
Its more of a silvery blue color. Im trying to convince him to do a 418 stroker and a 175 shot.

Well we got it torn down yesterday to the bare block. Spun #5 rod bearing into itself. The rest of the engine looked ok though for 100k miles. His plan is a 402 stroker, LS3 heads, big ass cam, some other go fast goodies as well. 500 n/a @ the wheels. Oh, and like I said about no oil, there was maybe 1.5 qts in the pan when we drained it.
Looks like you guys are making some good progress though, looking forward to seeing this thing out there again!
Did he say anything about my car? Most people think it's a Honda
Your cars badass I love the sleeper cars. Everyone just looks at you like OK sure buddy. I used to have a 90 accord with a H22 swap and people always underestimated it.
