Hey there...I have a 2G 6 bolt conversion that i am THIS close to finishing.

Anyone able to make it out to Front Range Airport to attempt a startup, and help me bleed the clutch so I can drive it?

I am available all day....would really love someone's help to make sure I have everything setup/plugged in correctly.

Thanks!:hellyeah:

double check your wiring on the CAS. Thats peoples main issue. If you dont have fire make sure the TPS and CAS connectors arent switched (seen this a time or two)

Its possible to bleed it one man. Ive had to do it in tough situations. Try using about a 5 foot piece of clear vinyl tubing that will slip over the bleeder nipple snugly. I just put a good vaccum on it with a vacuum tester or my mouth then crack the bleeder. Make sure you use enough length that your not sucking it in your mouth. *make sure you use clear to see the fluid.

Ive done this several times and was able to get 90% of the air from the system. Its faster than pumping the cluthc 400+ times. Also they sell one man brake bleeders for dirt cheap at autozone/oreillys

Okay I've got the vinyl tubing....

The 1G CAS was already pre-wired from the previous install ....it's a weirdo Evo 3 JDM head so the cams weren't drilled for the 2G cas/crank.

I also still am having a bi*** of a time with the throttle cable. Now it seems too soft?

Soft? As in poor throttle response? Ive got mine fairly tight. I set my TPS to like 1% and adjusted idle accordingly. Make sure its taught but not so tight the butterfly valve stays open. I was wandering about the wiring. Magnusmotorsports makes a sick PNP harness that looks OEM. Im assuming you got the thing fired up since you said the throttle is "soft"

Nah, i can't seem to get the throttle cable wired up properly, LOL.

Could you possibly snap a picture of your throttle cable hooked up to the spring perch on the TB?

Figures no Colorado DSM guys would want to give a rat's ass. They're too busy bullshitting on who's a better mechanic or "tunes" better.

Too bad. Usually people helping other people out on cars is what makes them fun. You never know when you might need it yourself (like at the racetrack).
