Local Machine shop in Denver who knows DSMs?

Need to either do a 6 bolt swap.....or possibly pull out my (3rd!!) seized 7 bolt and do a rebuild on it.

What machine shops can you trust to do a good job in the Denver area?

Thank you.

Try searching/asking that on one of the local CO forums. You'll probably get a lot more responses, and many more personal experiences with local shops, by inquiring on those forums.

I haven't dealt with any local shops. Sorry.

Yea there is a good one in the Springs....don't really have the ability to drive a motor to and from there since I work 8-5pm in Denver.

I was always told to stay away from Havana Machine shop.

Everyone has a different opinion on the local forums, especially on who thinks they're a better DSM mechanic than the other. One person says go to Blue Oval, other says they suck....then Havana Machine shop is crappy....or good depending on who you talk to.

This is incredibly frustrating.

I have never hated a car so much in my life.

I dropped my head off with Jack to get it re-surfaced. He said that unfortunately they have to take all their stuff to a place in Pueblo since they don't trust any of the machine shops in the Springs. I was also looking for a reliable machine shop in Denver. One that can possibly o-ring the head.

Why do you need to o-ring the head?

Get some arp L19 or A1 headstuds.
If you really want to oring the head, I'm pretty sure Jack's place can do that.
