Our friend will be trying for 11 seconds on pump gas next week. Another is trying for the state Evo III record. It stands at 12.7@112. He is looking to do that on pump has as well. I work until 7. Start my new job monday, but I will come to root those two on after I get off. I work 10 minutes from the track.

Steven

Hopefully I'll have the radiator all put in and ready to go... more importantly, hopefully the weather holds up.

Ok, Carl ran either a 12.6 or 12.7 and I know for a fact Art ran 12.7. If you know of someone else speak up. We are coming for it either way.

Steven

uhh, i think we're getting down there at about 3:30-4:00. I think the prices are like $30 to participate. The weather hopefully holds up.

So the correct response would have been this is the record according to you.

Easy Brent, no need to get confrontational As far as I know there is no sanctioning body who keeps track of "state records" like this. Online forums like DSMtuners and RMDSM are probably as close as we'll get - maybe the DSMtimes list too. We don't even know that every EVO3 DSMer is part of the local DSM clubs or even participates online.

So without an official organizing body there really is no true "record". It's really just a "bragging right" until someone else shows that they've gone faster.

It's bolted in the car. I just need to finish up mounting the overflow bottle. The zip ties I have won't stay secure - I tighten them and then they just come loose - ?

Just got to fill the thing up with water. Last time I was at the track my battery cutoff switch wasn't cutting power, most likely because the car was running off the alternator. I have an alternator cutoff I might try installing tonight or tomorrow. We'll see.

Brent only needs an exact time to gun for. He did just get a freshly built long block, so he's extra excited from the sounds of it.
