Denver area EVO III GT turbo owners

Turbogarage.com is planning on doing a back to back analysis of the EVO III GT and EVO III 16G turbos on the dyno. If youre willing to let us borrow it for this test, let us know!

Results will be posted publically on our website and any damage to the GT unit will be compensated, of course.

Tests will be run back to back on the same vehicle with the only difference being the turbo. No tuning changes will be made, with the assumption the turbos are similar enough not to require it for the safety of the engine. All pulls will be done on race fuel (not sure which variety yet) and at various boost levels.

Whats the matter you guys can't walk down the street to TEC and get a evo3 for your testing? I have one with 70 miles on it you can Buy for $200 bucks. mine only boosted to 18 psi than bleed off to 7 psi @4500. My mods are in my profile.

The turbo is still in my house in Fort Collins.

Last I checked, TEC didn't sell the GT unit. We have more than enough EVOIII 16g's available for the test, but I'm not going to spend money on the copied GT model that I won't use or sell. If someone wants to potentially prove their GT is just as good as the Mitsubishi unit, we're offering them the chance to do that.

TEC is going out of buisness anyway, the owner Jim killed himself and stuck me with a shitty turbo that I cannot get replaced, I went turbonetics anyway! Good luck with your Business.
