Fort Collins and Greeley help !?

Hey Guys and Gals...Im needing some help. Some one rear-end the car behind me at Harmony and Mason tonight, and since Newton was correct, the middle car hit me. Here's where the ong shot comes in.... I am looking for a mid 90's 4 runner (black in color) with silver stripes going down each side... first 3 numbers on the license plate are 507 colorado plates. He ran off so that was thaqt. I know its a long shot but please keep an eye out..... I know I know... I am crazy for thinking that I will ever see this car/suv again but its worth a try

Have you called law enforcement to see if they can run the plate?

yep...they said that there are so many of these in FTC and surrounding areas that they can't track them all. Basically was told that it takes too much effort but I should keep an eye out for them.. Sucks huh... Oh well. The damage was basically some spidering on the back bumber cover and its now dented... guess I'll just live with it b/c progressive told me that the damage is less than my $500 deductable. Guess if I can find a red bumper cover soo I'll pick it up. If anyone knows I am also needing a drivers side 1gb front fender

yeah bumper skin pushed in a spidered the paint so I am now looking for someone local with 92-94 red body parts... either that or I am gonna start learning body work and hope I dont mess up too much. I figure if I can get everything smoothed out and get the car painted at maaco or somewhere like that it should look tons better.

thanks....Maybe you could give me some pointers on the prep work. Once I start something I dive right in but I like to have an idea of the process before hand. Like I said before, I have never done any body work but would like to learn

I'll be out and about in old town tonight...look for the red beat up talon with 2 of 4 wheel s with a polished lip... I couldnt finish all four in one sitting

are you sure the 4runner was black could it have been dark blue cuz uh i know a guy actually someone i'm kinda friends with but he does that kind of shit and would definately run out in an accident especially cuz he has no license right now but it could have been him but its dark blue but fits the description otherwise

It looked black but I wouldnt mind having the insurance agent have a look see. If their plates have 507 to start.... I'd say it's a good chance. I've almost given up on the car ever having a decent looking exterior again so if it doesnt happen.... oh well
