What does that mean exactly? Well, the most important thing is that if anyone were to fab up lower front control arms for our cars it would be wise to design them to fit the S13 ball joints so that we can take advantage of the roll center kits available for the 240sx!

Unfortunately, since the ball joints aren't sold separately from the control arm, I couldn't measure the section that goes into the control arm to see if it's possible to install them in a stock DSM control arm. Maybe I'll see if we have a supporting vendor who sells the Megan Racing roll center kits to send me a set to measure and test. This could be really good for us road racers... if this works, all we need to do is use some solid rod ends for the tie rods to fix that adjustment.

Maybe. But I wouldn't even know which one to start testing. But if you don't have to modify the spindle, all the better!

At least with this one we know that the taper is the same. Until I get one in my hands I won't know for sure that it would even work. But at least it's a possibility right now. I'm trying to see if Megan will send out a set to do some comparisons.

ok, the reason I suggested the beefer ball joint was that i'm guessing this for RR and you would want something beefer. I'm no mechanical engineer and don't know what forces are at work on the ball joints.

found these s13 ones
PDM Racing - Suspension towards the bottom of the page.
You'll notice the Moog ball joints on that page are simply stock replacements for the S13. The Megans just below it are the roll-center adjuster kits. They are quite a bit taller than the stock replacements. That's what we're looking for here, not stock replacements. I've read about another company making them, but I can't remember the name.

I have seen some of the cheaper variants for the 200 or 240 sx .
It seems that some of them a fake and only moves your lover arm down but retaining the joint at the same distance to the spindle.

Kinda hard to explain since English isn't my first language but.

You want the ball in the joint to move further away from the spindle but the ones I saw just had a longer outer casing? (the part you press in your lover arm)

Hope i make some sense...

sport and circuit seems alright but are expensive,

I have been researching these roll center adjuster for use on my Sentra track car. I'm planning on using the S13 rear adjusters. In case you were wondering, the size on the s13 rear ball joint casing is 38mm and the taper on the shank is 9 degrees. What I still want to know, specifically about the megan racing ones is, where exactly the inner pivot ball is in the casing. I'm trying to find the distance from the center of the pivot to the top of the taper, to actually confirm the difference I stand to gain by running these. I'm assuming it offers a 15mm spacing like all the other brands(moonface, hardrace, etc.) Anyways, I hope those fitment details help you out. Let me know if you find any more info on these.
