The result of my car at BlackHawkFarms Track day.
Well, all was looking good prior to the track day, car was running good, fresh oil, just mounted my MX's and i thought the car was ready 100%.
Well, 4 laps into the track day and here is the aftermath:
HUGE THANKS goes to user "aaronmatusz" and his girlfriend Lisa for helping me get my ride home!!! I can't thank you two enough!!

I'm fine other than a little chapt as thats an expensive 4 minutes of track time. I hate missing out on track time due to a broken car.
Cause in unknown other than it was just its time. and no its not crankwalk! The car has had fresh oil prior to every track event (mobile 1). in fact i have changed oil on this car 5 times now, and have only put about 5k miles on it total since I have had it.

Yeah, I know what you mean on expensive 4 minutes of track time. It REALLY stinks to have that happen but unfortunately....it does from time to time. What are your plans from here? Fix it or another one?

I am currently looking for a good running 6 bolt engine that I can take apart, install some fresh bearings, new rings, all new oil and water pump, and all new timing components. I don’t need an engine that can withstand 500hp, i need something that can withstand 5000-7500rpms for a half an hour at a time.

I won't tell. Does it get any easier pulling out the engine as much as you have? Any tips on making the process faster and more efficient? I would love to do this, but dread the wiring/connections and tranny drop. I think I would rather drop the engine than use a picker IMO, but then I may have to deal with the oil pan.

I think its much easier pulling the trans and engine still together right up and out. From start to finish, i had the engine on the engine stand in 1.5 hours.

nothing. you may be used to seeing a long FWD axle there, the AWD's use an intermediate shaft.
