That looks a little like Talladega Motor Park. Should be a fun track to drive. You know any of the Group 4 drivers there talonTSIdriver? Keep us posted on whats going with the event and afterwards man. Good luck.

This is what Talladega Gran Prix looks like. Same basic shape between the 2 circuits.

I gotcha man. I misread what you wrote there. Group 4 seems to b the group to be in then eh? Open track right now for them. But I'm sure they wouldn't just give 1 guy the track. But maybe they will who knows.

If all goes well I plan on attending this event. Right now I am in the midst of a 6 bolt swap, but hopefully will have it all together and broke in before then. I've got a long ways to go.

Blackhawk Farms is an excellent track, and they are in the midst of making quite a few changes around there over the winter and spring time. You can see pictures on their web site. Alot of attention has been given to safety imppovements there over the past couple years.

Having been a member for several years and a class champion last season with Midwestern Council I can highly recommend the events they put on. The open track day will provide just about as much track time as you can handle. I will be running in group 3 as well. Will anyone be sticking around to run the high speed autocross day as well that weekend? You will not get nearly as much track time, but the competition for best lap times is great fun.

I'm looking forward to getting back on track after a boring winter. Seeing a few DSM'ers there will be great.

Fun looking tracks! Can't wait to have a couple new ones open up around here... We have 3-4 projects trying to get funding and it looks like 1-2 might really happen. Can't wait!

NASA doesn't run at Blackhawk this year and there is a gap in my schedule that this might fit. Will they have an entry list for Group 4?

When you register on myautoevents, you choose what group you will run in. So far i dont see anyone that has registered in group 4.

If you have any questions, email Erik: ehutch91@hotmail.com

Edit: There is one person that pre-registed in group 4.

I'm signed up and ready to go. I'll see you there. BHFs is an excellent track because its balanced between horsepower and handling. Unlike Road America where horsepower is king.

All groups will fill up before the actual date as this event provides more track time than most are willing to put their car through! Last year the last two sessions had less than 4 cars in them. It was basically open lapping.
