Please log in here and tell us what you will be doing next year in road racing/autocrossing/rallying. I'd just like to get an idea of who is doing what.

I'd like to know:

What car you have
Mods
Class & Race organization

For example, me:

CAR
1990 Eclipse GSX AWD turbo

MODS
20G turbo, 2.3 AMS stroker, Ground Control, Stoptechs, roll cage, and enough mod points to fit into NASA TTB.

CLASS
I plan to run NASA next year in TTB. I am considering moving up to TTA or one of the newer TT groups, depending on the new rules.

I also plan to take the driver course, move up to a race group, and run one or more NASA road races.

Rich

And thats all I can think of that would affect road racing.

Class and Race Organization:
Just getting into Road Racing so HPDE 1, I come from autocross in SM class.

CAR
1992 Eagle Talon Es-Tsi hybrid

MODS
Forced performance 18g, basic suspension mods, more details in profile

CLASS
SCCA Street Mod or our regional Street Mod Street Tire class, a couple open track days at Gingerman to test out the car's on track reliability before spending any big cash for NASA HPDE days. Eventually move into TTB with Rich I suppose.

Car:
1990 Eclipse GSX

Mods:

Just a few enough for NASA "new class" and SCCA FP (autoX)

Plans:

Get some track time, as many NASA HPDE's, open track days, and schools as I can fit into my budget. AutoX with the Sport Car Club of Siouxland (SCCS).

Car:
1995 GSX

Plans:
NWOR SCCA Solo series = E Modified (Might make a trip out to Fort Wayne a couple times too)
Detroit SCCA, NSC - Dayton, and CORC Road Rally series = Equipped
Detroit Rallycross series = Rally Mod 4 (hopefully... Need to get a skidplate together this winter)
Will probably hit an open track day or 2 over at Nelson Ledges too

CAR
1993 Eclipse GSX

MODS
FP Green turbo, 2.3 stroker, a little under 2900 lbs when put back together. I'm working on obtaining some very large porsche front brakes, and when I can afford it, Hotbits coilovers. but for the beginning of the year will be running OEM calipers with ducting and R4-E pads, and KYB/GC kit. Lots of cooling and safety. The entire car has been apart, and is slowly being put back together this winter.

CLASS
I will be going through the HPDE classes (2-4) next year. Should end up in TTC or TTB by the end of the year. I'm also going to be autocrossing the car for fun, as I'm keeping it "street legal" for now :shhh:

92 TSI AWD

Mods in profile, plus a few other chassis stuff coming up.

I'll be doing the 2 Speedseekers events and, money permitting, some NASA HPDE's.

There is no way I can chase TT points, however, if I advance through all 4 HPDE's, I see no reason not to try a nearby TT deal, probably in TTC

Car:
Stock 95 Talon Tsi AWD - no 1st gear ATM, hope to afford TRE rebuild before spring
boost gauge
16X8 3000gt wheels with 245/50ZR16 KDW / 16X6 DSM 5 spoke w/205/60 Blizzak ATM
hacked air box w/ K&N panel
$25 IC sprayer for hot times in the grid
Rear spoiler delete, ahh the view!
Flowmaster 40 series on stock exh

Backup car:
Stock 2000 A6 Biturbo quattro 6spd (It brings the sexy)
Stock 16X7.5 5 spoke w/225/50/ZR16 KDW
CAN'T hurt this car or else...

I plan on trying to compete a little better next season in rallycross, time to get serious and ditch those street tires for snows, and modulate the throttle more smoothly. I also want to keep progressing though HPDE's with both Cascade Sports Car Club and Audi Club NW. Ultimately, I would like to try a hillclimb event, specifically Larison rock through Emerald Empire Sports Car Club, no cage required :) A "brisk gravel" TSD in Canada this winter if the stars align just right.

After I get done paying for all those events, I hope to get a few suspension mods for both cars, plus one or two the wheels/tires, DSM link for Green Destiny and a GIAC or REVO chip for the A6 (+100hp or so).

Oh yeah, and a helmet for my ladyfriend...:rocks: :beatentodeath: :D

1992 Laser AWD
14b, FMIC, 3" downpipe, rom tune; 16x8 RX-7 wheels will have 225/50/16 RS2s, H&R springs, GR2s, ST sway, will have dual piston calipers and R4-S pads- full mods in the profile

I plan to start out in autocross. I did the Mazda Rev It Up event over a year ago and it was the most fun I've had in a car in a long time, but I've been slowly fixing little issues that would keep it from teching that should be completely fixed by January. I plan to run in NASA-X which due to many non-beneficial pre-existing mods will put me in class B with all sorts of cars I can't compete with. I'll also run some local BMW and Porsche club events, and maybe hit up an SCCA event or two to run in F prepared or whatever my mods will doom me to. I have no intention of being competitive against anybody but myself- main goal is to have fun and improve my driving skill over time in a cheap venue while preparing my car to eventually hit up some open track HPDE stuff at Sebring.
