I've decided that it's time for us road racers/autocrossers/rallycrossers to have their own forum, free of all the drag racing discussions that used to fill up the Track Talk forum. So if you believe in using your steering wheel while you go fast, you now have a new place to call home. You might find that some threads which should belong here are still located in the Drag Strip forum (formerly named Track Talk). If you come across those threads, please report them to a moderator so they can be moved.

Thanks! And enjoy!

Plenty of info already here, just look around a bit. We'll have some stickies posted soon to help even more.

I have allready been looking around. Tons of great advice like you said. I really want to get into this type of racing. Always have, now we are going to have DSM specific advice. This is great!

As always don't hesitate to ask questions. There's a large group of us here with experience in many different arenas of racing.

Come on down to BW sometime. I'm there once a month or so spring and fall. Next year I'll probably get a test and tune pass.

If I ever make it to TH it'll be in the other car or a rental. At least until I get a tow vehicle.

I'm sure JTMCinder could tell you more about making your 2g awd handle than you'd ever need to know.

Now that I no longer live in Cali I see people talking about Buttonwillow and Thunderhill... damn, I was always the only DSM out at those tracks when I went too. My friends and I started doing a "Day After Thanksgiving" Buttonwillow event before I moved away - they'll be there doing it again this year. Too bad I wasn't able to meet up with you guys before I moved - now I'm surrounded by drag racers here in Colorado. I've only been able to get one other DSMer out to a road course event this whole season.

Hey DSM Autocrossers! When i get my GSX her shortly i was thinking of tring the autocross out. Looks fun as hell! :thumb: I was wondering if there is a track in or near Maryland somewhere?
