Inspections in Fayetteville

I am moveing to Fayetteville NC in a few days and I was wondering how deep those inspections go.

I have a 98 RS 420a with cam and mild tune. Momo muffler.

I am a little worried about passing the inspections any advice would be awesome!

Did you ever find out about the inspections here?? Im in fayetteville too, Ive heard with my 92 TSi I would be ok and it didnt need to be inspected, but until I find out for sure its being registered out of state, haha.

From what i hear, best to just keep it registered out of state. Im from Washington state and have just had my vehicles registered there ever since i have been in Fayetteville for the last 3 years.
