We are going to need a bit more info.

What kind of car does your brother have? If it isn't a DSM, then you probably need to change the settings somewhere.

Are you sure your car doesn't have any leaks, wastegate issues?

You probably just need to sit down and actually read the instructions and understand how to operate the Profec B.

first thing is put the balence to the middle.....that knob has a bit to do with boosting second i would make sure that your stepper motor is hooked up correctly. The In must go to the turbo nipple if it is a stock t 25 or the bov line if not....really any line where it can read pressure. Then the out must go to the waste gate. Make sure these things are ok. If not you might want to make sure the wastegate actuator is good.

hope this helps good luck
