Idle Surge for first 1-2 minutes

When I first start my car, with the engine cold, I get some idle surge for about 1-2 minutes. After that, every thing is fine. I wonder if this is due to an old oxygen sensor, 80K mile, or some other sensor in the idle control loop. Anyone else experienced this problem?

I also have this problem.
It seems to be related to engine temp, which leads me to believe it's the FIAV.
I haven't blocked it off yet.
I'm still hoping it's something else.

Sounds Like FIAV.

mine is the opposite, idles high, and smooth, til its warm, the idles with 600 rpm of change up and down
