I changed my front parking light/turn signal bulb today and now my running lights don't work. I checked all the fuses and none were blown. they were working just fine and the front turn signal was out, I change that bulb and now no running lights at all. Any suggestions????

Was the bulb kind of hard to get into the socket? The tits on the bayonet are staggered- if you got it in backward, or only halfway because it's backward, you may have a bizarre short going on there.

one of the bulbs did give me a little trouble. I'll check the bulbs again and make sure they are fitted properly. thanks for the advise.

Chad

In fact...... take that bulb [that you screwed with] out completely and then see if your running lights return.
Let us know what happens... and/or what you find!!

The problem has been solved, on the new bulb I installed the metal nipple broke off inside of the plastic bulb harness and I believe it was making contact with the metal part of the wire harness, after clearing the debris away and using a new light bulb the lights are all working again. How a piece of metal the size of a grain of sand can cause all that trouble is beside me. but it's fixed and I appreciate everyone's suggestions and help.

Thanks,
Chad
