Well it isnt a pic of my engine but it may help. This happened last week and not since again except for today. Oil is leaking somewhere and I need some help. Temp goes up...way too far. Attached is a pic circled where I can kind of locate where the oil is coming out. Please help.

-To the right and up of the thermostat housing (in circle), there's a 1/2 moon shape black rubber seal, you might want to check that, this seal is part of the valve cover gasket seal set. As for the temp goes way up, did you check the thermostat? flush the cooling system? fans?

Ok, going to check for this gasket. Got a feeling the heat went up cause I was spitting so much oil out (loss of oil = gain in heat).

Perhaps its time for a coolant flush anyways.
