2g wheel bearing ?

I am making the assumption that you cannot just change a wheel bearing in a 2g eclipse, looks like all you can do is replace the wheel hub assembly am I off on this? any help would be god sent.
 
Yes, you can replace the wheel bearing in a 2G Eclipse. You will need to pull the oil seal from the axle side of the knuckle with a pry tool of some sort. Then remove the inner race using a jawed puller. (Put the puller arm in a vise to hold the assembly). Next you will have to remove the snap ring from the knuckle and then remove the bearing. After remove the outer race.

Install in reverse order...you will have to have a new bearing pressed in to the knuckle.
