Hi everyone,

I have a big problem! My car (Eclipse -97 Spyder GST) vibrates like crazy when I accelerate and also when I go over 45 MPH. The car goes nuts, it shakes like nothing else. I checked all the engine mounts and tranny but they are all fine. However, the tranny is placed so low so that it almost hits the metal thing (sorry, dont know the name of it) that goes from the front of the car to the rear center which is just under the tranny. The tranny almost hits it and I think that is what is causing the vibration. My CV joints are fine and also the rims and tires.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? Please let me know. I need to get rid of this vibration.

Also, when I go up in RPM and stop, the car go down to about 200 RPM and almost dies, and many times is does die on me. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Please let me know if anyone of you have had these problems and if you could tell me how to fix them.

The things is that all the mounts are in good condition. I think it began after we changed the clutch. The tranny is resting on the black metal support that goes from the radiator and back to the rear of the car.
