rust in engine bay

I just found out some rust in my engine, where the 4 pipe thingy goes into the engine, anyways to fix this? Will it affect the performance of the car?

You 4 pipe thingy I believe you are referring to your exhaust manifold. It rusts easily when water touches it. It doesn't affect performance of you vehicle should there be rust on it.
