spilled power steering fluid

I spilled some power steering fluid over the tank where the fluid goes in, my question is will is burn or go on fire when i drive or something?

also i filled the little fluid tank to full, will it leak or spill out?

No, it won't catch on fire but obviously clean as much of it as you can. It will not spill out.

actually,
if it spilled on the alternator.
the fluid will react to the high voltage., and a gas (c0rd4) is created. this gas can deteriate rubber and is corrosive to boost.

best thing to do is get about a liter of blinker fluid and mix it with a pint of intake grease, and rub it on anything rubber you dont want to be ate.

my friends eagle talon turbo deisel had this problem, but he mixed his blinker fluid with manifold glue, and it didnt stop the gas, his timeing belt snapped. there was nothing he could do.

you have about 3 days before adverse effect occur, give or take a week, due to atmospherical anomolies in your area.
