2001 Eclipse GT

hey i got a small problem hopefully somebody knows the answer to my buddy wired up a remote starter in his gf's 2001 eclipse gt and with the wireless remote the car turns over but will not start just cranks

the car is a 5 spd

and when you put the key in the ignition normally car starts right up anybody got any ideas that could help us quickly ( its frustrating ) thanks guys

I have to do the same thing for a friend of mine and on the same car w/5 speed tranny. I take it you bypassed the clutch engagement sensor?

Does he have something hooked up to TURN ON THE IGNITION?

Did he program the starter brain to learn your tach signal?
