I still have the Batt sign coming on need help ASAP PLEASE

Ok i posted this like years ago . But i actually had the money to fix it and it still happening.
heres what ive done
the car use to start and die like in 10 minutes after turning the radio or ac on and i saw that the headlight would dim and the blinkers wouldnt work. Figured it was the alternator and battery.
Well yesterday i got my new alternator from dealer instaled it and bought a red top optima bat. turned the car on and yes it worked now
it worked for like an hour or so bt when i turned the ac on the car dramaticaly shakes and can handle the ac and the battery symbol comes on and everything in the car dims including guages. so i figure maybe theres a problem witht he wire that goes to the + side of the bat to the alternator. well i got an 8 gauge wire and ran it from the alternator directly to the battery. didnt help made it work longer during the day but at night i still have issues. What can it be?
Can it be the alternator that i got is a lemon ?
ive been told some car have the ecu to regulate the current for the alternaot and that my ecu is blown ? weird
or that I am just stupid and the car does not like ?
anything is helpful. please need help asap.

ive had similar problems. I took it to a shop and the guy told me the battery wires were messed up. Maybe you should get ur battery wires checked out.

Which wires? the ones that go form the battery to the alternator. the white ones. I didnt take those out all I did was ran a 8gauge wire from the alternator tot he battery + terminal and it helped some it lasted like an extra 10 minutes but it dies still.
Ok follow up on my car .
I got it a new belt but one side haS groves and the other side is smooth. what imtrying to say i instaled it witht the grove touching the pulley and made sure all the connections of wires are good and it ran for like an hour before it died. soo then i decided to take the harnes out the alternator and it ran once agin but this time for like 2 hours and then it died sysptoms while driving the car start to strugle dramiticaly over hills and when using the headlight the car strugles but when the light are of it runs good for like ane xtra 30 minutes. before it dies and wont start. what can it be? someone help
if it the wires so should i just remove the the wire and try to run it with my 8gauge one andd see if that hepls or what need ideas. if not if there any one local such as i n the oc that can fix my problem let me know ill buy you lunch dinner or pay you. thnkas

so you might think i have a lemon alternator. ok il double check that but once again if theres a mechanic who i s willing to help i will pay just pm me and let me know price
