Resolved 3000rpm idle

OK I've looked all over and cant really find anything. When I start my car up, It idles at 1500rpms then after a mile or two the car idles at 3000rpms!? Whats going on? Anyone have any ideas? TPS? Thanks for the help!

try that, try adjusting your BISS first, it can be found near the bottom of the page

dam im haveing the same problem and i have my biss fully closed so i need help also

edit: o ya i did that biss thing to ground out computer and with biss fully closed it still idles at 3k, and still looking for solution if i find ill post about it

found out my problem my isc was dead so now on a look out for a isc

I have the same problem except mine stays at 3000 from the second I fire it up and then goes down to 2500 after 5 minutes or so, I am installing a new ISC motor in the morn. I will let you know what happens.

Well guys thanks for all the help. My problem was i had NO Base Idle Screw. Thats kinda said huh? I was amazed to be able to control my idle level. you might wanna check your BIS if your having this problem

If that doesn't work, make sure your idle position switch is working correctly. Mine was doing the exact same thing one time when I forgot to plug it back in.
