Hey guys, I really need help fast with this as I am supposed to pick someone up in 2 hours. So I'm driving on the highway and then all of a sudden my oil light comes on and I just thought I was low on oil cause this thing does leak so I ease off a little and then look in my rear view and I see what looks like black smoke and I couldn't tell if it was just my dirty window or what but after a minute realized that yes it is smoke. I get home and look at the exhaust, nothing, pop the hood and smoke everywhere. It looks like it's coming from behind the intake mani and I thought it was my trans again (just rebuilt this a month ago) and the smoke source looked to be the same. I take a better look and see fluid all over the firewall underneath the intake mani. Could I have blown a headgasket and lost a lot of oil that spilled onto the firewall? The source of the smoke was the fluid hitting my exhaust. Please help me guys!

yeas, sound like either a hg seal, or a main seal, definatley loosing oil though a seal.

well, i woudnt think a leaking gasket would gurgle, that would have to be an open location.

hmmmm....
is your car turbo?
check your oil return line, hmmm.....
either that or your block might be cracked? mi not to sure, guys?

I really hope it isn't a cracked block! And no its not turbo, I wish. I'm waiting for the tow truck right now to bring it to the shop. Please everyone say a prayer for my :dsm: (LOL). An 8 year old shouldn't die, she's so young. I hope it's just a head gasket, but with my luck... Thanks guys, I'll keep it updated as I hear about it.
