Okay.. So I was driving on the freeway. My car loses power whenever I have the pedal to the floor (some have said it is a sparkplug.) But anyways. I was passing a car, and was in 3rd. As I was accelerating in 3rd at about 6200 RPMs my car's Check Engine light comes on.. This is when my car really starts f'ing up. Like it seems like it'll barely idle, sometimes sounds like it's about ready to die. And when I'm trying to accelerate slowly or any at all the car vibrates like hell and will barely accelerate. What did I do to the car? I can't even drive it, the engine doesn't sound the same and it constantly vibrates hardcore when I try to give it any gas. Please help me.

Fact is you wont know whats giving the cel unless you get the code checked at a dealer or from some one with a data logger.

Your symptoms could be a lot of things. Let us know what code its throwing, then it will narrow your problems down.:D

sounds like you blew an intercooler pipe off

the cel would be the messed up o2 readings the ecu is seeing. The mas reads the air but then its not getting into the motor causing it to die off (vibrate) and then the oxygen sensor is seeing all this going on which throws the check engine light.

Alright guys.. Well, I took it to the shop and it just needed some new sparkplug wires and the fuel injectors needed to be serviced. They were going to charge me 380 but we got it down to 300. I wish I could do this stuff myself so I wouldn't get ripped off. Grrr.

Plug wires are really very basic, and even plugs are easy as long as they're gapped for you or you do it correctly. Injector servicing I wouldn't tackle myself either... but changing them is also very easy. Someone get this kid a DSM back up CD or a Haynes manual.
