Hi,

After a turn at 40 mph or more, the car lost power for a few seconds.
I have a 95 2g GST, idle very bad, "check engine" light is on.
Anyone knows what this cold be?

same thing happend to me and a friend last night in his 1g gsx. he took a hard right at about 40 and his car almost stalled, started idleing bad, and the check engine light came on.

if your fuel is low and you turn fast your fuel will cut, just another dsm flaw, but for it to continue to idle bad and check light on is weird, take your airfilter off and see if everything is ok with your MAS aswell as airfilter seal

This can be crankwalk, but this happen when i turn to RIGHT.
And there is no noise, the car just lost power quiet for a few seconds and then back to normal.
How can I fix this if is "crankwalk" ?
just replace the crankshaft ?

can happen in either, some 1g's came with the 7-bolt engine too, but 2g's seem more prone, but i also think its pretty over exadurated, crankwalk isn't as common as people make it out to be sometimes

i bet it's more common than you think, at least w/ peeps that have moded engines (i've read)...i have it and i don't have TOO much increased hp

check my gallery, i'd say i had a pretty well modded 2g. never had any crankwalk problems. I had 3 friends here with 2g's, none of them had it. It's just u hear about 1 person getting it here and there, but not about all of em out there that are runnin just fine. I agree that it should be taken into consideration, like i wouldn't throw an act2600 on it, nor would i rebuild a 7-bolt with performance pistons/rods just because its not worth the risk, but i feel for the most part it is overly exadurated
