Getting no fuel

My car started cutting out on me the other day and it steadily got worse until it just died and wouldn't start. I disconnected the fuel line from the top of the fuel filter and had someone crank it over and no fuel came out. I'm thinking it must either be the fuel pump or the fuel filter is completely clogged. Any other ideas? btw I can't get the bolt off of the bottom of the fuel filter that attaches to the hard fuel line. Anyone know a trick to this?

-Either that or your computer is damage, more info at vfaq.com, under electrical.

check the pump relay as well up by the computer

Where exactly is the pump relay?

Cool...is there a way to test it? I do have a multimeter...

Well I checked the voltage at the pump with a multimeter and it is getting power. So it has to be the pump.

Just to let everyone know it turned out to be a clog in the fuel line.
