How exactly have you determined there's oil in your exhaust?

is there oil in ur exaust when u rev it and it shoots out on your hand....cuz that could be mistaken for condensation buildup and carbon mixed together and just blowing out.....

If you have oil in your exhaust, in the form of smoke or fluid, then there can be two things wrong (usually):

1.) Oilrings are dead
2.) Valves are dead

If you actually have OIL in the fluid form in your exhaust, then your engine is in need of some serious mechanical maintenance.

agree'd

OMG

This can mean two things: that your piston rings and/or valves are leaking and are allowing engine oil into the combustion chamber. OR, your turbo bearings are damaged and are leaking oil into the exhaust from the turbo. You need to take apart your turbo and examine it for damage. If your turbo is OK, then your engine is fux0red. So either way, you are gonna need to do some work. Either your turbo is shot, or your engine needs a rebuild. From what you are describing, it sounds more like a turbo problem (a relatively easy problem to fix). Just unbolt your turbo and exhaust manifold from your head, (examine for excessive oil buildup in exhaust manifold too, this would indicate an engine problem) and examine the turbo for damage.

u need to check your oil levels and see if there is heavy oil lossage....if that is so ur piston rings are def. shot because ive have the same problem with my car (96 talon) and mine only have 113,000 on it....and with however miles are on ur car u should get most of the gaskets replaced, such as the headgasket, and the valve cover gasket...also check all ur oil line hoses and just check the turbo for leaks and see if there is oil build-up in the turbine of the turbo...

i think i can definatly tell you from experience. I have a new td05, new head and gasket, i can shoot oil out of my exhaust. When i bought my car I talked to the owners mechanic (friend of mine). He said the block need bored and honed. (unless he was tryin to get some cash from me for a rebuild. ;)

Yep, like I said earlier, oil in your exhaust is most likely caused by worn turbo bearings. You now have 3 options:

1.) Fork out $500-$2000 for a brand new turbo

2.) Spend $100 on a rebuild kit and rebuild your turbo (if its not damaged too badly)

3.) Look on ebay for a used 14b that is still in good condition (they go for about $60 - $150)

If your turbo blades are still in good shape, you can rebuild your turbo and save yourself a whole shite load of moneys. If not, your gonna have to spend a little more =)

Sometimes people dump nice, almost-new, ported 16g's with o2 sensor on eBay, with attractive pricing.
