ok heres the deal I installed one of those fpr that u cut the stock one and install the new one ont the stock regulator(Im a poor college student:D ). Ok so its on and Im reading 80 psi at the fuel filter so I crank it down but the screw is at the end and its only at 53-54 at idle and 57-59 when the throttle is pressed, I was told it was supposed to boost fuel pressure from 30-60. I dont know how else I can turn it down. I noticed a very LOUD clicking(probly from the injectors) and after it got warm that noise went away as usual. My air fuel ratio is still showing normal fuel trim but still this is almost 10 psi over stock at idle and 12 at open throttle.

Has anyone esle installed this type of fpr and had similar problems?? Oh yeah the car is a 95 gst at 15-17 psi(mods are in profile). Someone please help me I have to get emissions done by 11-9-03 and I dont know if Ill pass. Thanks

stock is supposed to be set at 46, i have mine set at 53-54, are you reading the gage with the vacume hose disconected from the fpr? because its supposed to be disconected when youre setting it. what gage are you using, i also got the b &m gage with my b&m fpr. and they work great, the gage gets the reading from the top of the fuel filter.
Hope this helps

1. 2g BFP is around 42psi.
2. A B&M regulator is useless unless you want to turn the pressure up past stock.
3. The ticking could be lifters if it goes away when the oil gets all warm and snuggley.
4. G-A-U-G-E ... not "gage".

ohh look at that I hope you feel better now that you got that off youre chest.

LandoAWD<-~~~~ Got yeld at while growing up for tying his shoes wrong.

I sure notice A difference...but is 52-53 at idle and 56 at throttle is that to much to mess up emmissions on stock injectors? I know the tapping is lifters....but this is clicking different from comin from injectors i think oh well it all goes away.
