ok heres the deal I installed one of those fpr that u cut the stock one and install the new one ont the stock regulator(Im a poor college student
). Ok so its on and Im reading 80 psi at the fuel filter so I crank it down but the screw is at the end and its only at 53-54 at idle and 57-59 when the throttle is pressed, I was told it was supposed to boost fuel pressure from 30-60. I dont know how else I can turn it down. I noticed a very LOUD clicking(probly from the injectors) and after it got warm that noise went away as usual. My air fuel ratio is still showing normal fuel trim but still this is almost 10 psi over stock at idle and 12 at open throttle.
Has anyone esle installed this type of fpr and had similar problems?? Oh yeah the car is a 95 gst at 15-17 psi(mods are in profile). Someone please help me I have to get emissions done by 11-9-03 and I dont know if Ill pass. Thanks
