How do I clean the fan to my heat & AC?

When I run my heat or AC it sounds like something is in my fan. Like trash or something, it's very annoying. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what do I take off to clean it out or replace it? Thanks

just buy a spal fan and call it a day.

It only takes 3 bolts to take off the fan. Two on top and one on the bottom. I believe its a 10mm. Undo the bolts and unplug the harness and they will come right out.

I guess I wasn't very clear on my problem. I mean the fan that actually blows out the heat or the AC from my vents. Not my fan on my radiator.

Just remove the kick panel under the passenger side dash. The fan motor is right there. 3 small screws an out it comes. Mine was filled with debris causing it to "wobble" out of balance. I cleaned it up and it was like new.

Pull it out and clean both the housing and the fan. It doesn't take much to make them noisy just like a baseball card in your bicycle spokes. Pull the fan blades off the motor and wash the fan, the junk that builds up on the blades can throw it out of balance and cause it to make noise.

Expect to find lots of motor brush dust underneath the blades, When I cleaned mine I discovered after opening the motor that the brushes were worn down to nothing and had to find some replacements. Best I could do at the hardware store was some larger brushes with the proper pigtails that I sanded down to fit.
