I've heard that the Talons run alot faster? I dont get it. is it the ECU? Somebody please educate me on this.

ecu's are the same. the lasers in most cases are lighter because they are stripped of all of the "luxury options". other than that pretty much the same.

other than that, what problem do you need diagnosed?

this could get ugly

they are all the same, whoever told you talons are alot faster probably owns a civic and has no idea wtf hes talking about

Truthfully, they're all the same. They all have the exact same capabilities and same specifications. The only difference is accessories & weight - in which case I think there'd be two that'd likely to be a bit faster. .

1 - the early '90 model year Talon TSi AWDs that were available completely stripped of all of their options, even had roll-up windows.

2 - Lasers in general could be faster because they usually came with less options than the Talon/Eclipse, and most didn't have a lot of the 'bulk' of the T/Es, with a smaller spoiler and no ground effects.

Id have to agree it all depends on the options... if you had the same EXACT runs with no temperature changes and so on. (all variables controlled) it would go down to weight. I know from experience that the Lasers are pretty light, I have NO power door locks, NO Power windows, NO Cruise... i got nothing but A/C and AWD! LOL! But im assuming you could have ordered any model with those options!
The only difference between the cars is the badging! :dsm: :talon: :laser:
THATS it!
Same assembly line
Same employees
Same factory - Normal, IL!
