just replaced the clutch on a 98 gst and the car wont go into gear with the car on .. i torqued the bolts down on the flywheel to 90 lbs and the pressure plate to 20 lbs the new clutch is a ACT 2100 with a ACT flywheel both brand new with the throughout bearing that came with the
ACT kit could this be the prob?? after adjusting the rod under the dash every which way it the best i got it to do was be able to shove it into gear on the hardest setting it would make a strange like rubber onto metal sound with the clutch pedal all the way in ...

the car also dosent want to start now dead battery from cranking it over but it stalled once it was started ??? multiple times

thanks in advance Troy

yeah the flywheel was new would i need to step the flywheel i would assume that the flywheel should be to manu spec out of the box

get an extended slave cyl. rod from www.dsmparts.com
the clutch not fully diengaging is a common problem with the ACT clutches because it's much thicker than the stock one and the pushrod is made for the stocker
