ok car died this morning, could a bad TPS cause the car to not start, it turns over but wont start, and i hear my fuel pump going, i have plenty of coolant and oil and it ran fine until this morning

i did notice after cleaning my TB and adjusting my tps a while back on the logger my tps showed 18% at idle and the ohm's on the pins were not exactly what they were supposed to be no matter how i adjusted it

what it would do was every couple days, basically randomly it would just all of a sudden get very bad under part throttle, i would give it gas and it would bog and go on and off, it would do that basically most of the day then it would be ok the next day and then it would do it again a little while later

i didnt get to hook up my logger because ive been busy lately so i never got to see if anything was off while it was doing it, for the most part once i went WOT it was ok, although if it was doing it pretty bad it would still do it at WOT just a little bit, like a plug fouling out or something, but part throttle was horrible

ok so noone has answered, all i want to know is.........will the car RUN or NOT RUN with a dead TPS

i just tested it and i have no spark, but i hear the fuel pump go when the engines turned over, everything else looks fine, so its gotta be a sensor or something that would cut spark
