Ok i'm not really car stupid but i'm learning new things about dsm's everyday. I did my own timing belt my only problem is my alternator belt squeels in cold weather. I was confused when putting the alternator back on and i basically used leaverage to tighten it. Which is the correct way and do i need to get under the car to do it. I was thinking it was the single protruding bolt infront of the right side of the alternatoer but when i look at it i can't see how it would tighten the tension. Is there a link to help me out?

its actually really easy. the alternator itself is what needs to be moved. loosen the pivot bolts and then there is a screw on the right of the alternator. just tighten/loosen it and the alternator will move.
